Fearless and Free
Liberated Eyewear is a Black-owned, women-led modern eyewear boutique founded in 2022 in Los Angeles, CA, by award-winning entrepreneur Crystal Crawford. With an MBA in Healthcare from Saint Peter’s University in New Jersey, Crystal has been dedicated to over 14 years to cancer research and life sciences as a Senior Clinical Research Professional. As someone who has worn glasses her entire life, she found the eyewear shopping experience frustrating—limited to generic styles from the same brands, forcing her to compromise her personal style and visual experience.
Understanding the deep connection between eye health and overall well-being, Crystal saw an opportunity to disrupt the industry. She envisioned a brand that prioritized both style and inclusivity while integrating advanced lens technology. True to her fearless and free-spirited nature, she created Liberated Eyewear—a brand that speaks boldly through its unique designs, innovative prescription lenses, and commitment to quality.
Making History with Innovation
Eyewear has evolved beyond function; it is now a key part of personal expression. Crystal recognized this shift and set out to redefine the market by offering eyewear that empowers individuals to embrace their uniqueness while safeguarding their vision. More than just a fashion statement, Liberated Eyewear embodies social responsibility, supporting communities and sustainability initiatives.
At its core, Liberated Eyewear is about more than seeing the world—it’s about transforming it. Born from resilience, innovation, and an unstoppable drive, Liberated Eyewear stands as a testament to those who dare to be different.
We’re here to break the mold, disrupt the industry, and empower you to own your vision—literally and figuratively.
